The whole construct rests on implicit assumption that moving from 48 customers and 48 products to millions of customers/products spread over multitude of social strata will not introduce factors rendering the entire thesis incongruous. This informative (and interesting) talk introduced some of the concepts involved in developing personalisation algorithms for the grocery retail sector, and discussed wider aspects such as the business challenges that have or are likely to be addressed.
